About Made by Amelia Florence
Amelia is a Kent based florist with a love for design and nature. Her love for design originated from studying Textiles. Making garments and altering pre loved designs to make them unique, which is reflected through her floral designs. She even brought these two passions together when she made a corset out of rose petals for a "alternative" fashion show!
She has worked with some of the countries most prestigious florist, travelling all over the country to create outstanding weddings, events and photoshoots.
Using the best quality flowers either imported seasonally from Holland or from the amazing British growers we have to offer, she’s able to create designs which are personal to each occasion. We choose noteworthy colour ways in all our designs making an impact, whether that be on your table at home or adorning you sail cloth marquee.

Our Approach
At Made by Amelia Florence, sustainability and fair working standards are at the forefront of our values. We take pride in sourcing the majority of our flowers from local growers within 10 miles of our studio. Our roses are either imported from fair trade farms in Kenya or from a farm in Wales, and we are actively working to eliminate the need to purchase flowers from Holland. Approximately 90% of our foliage is grown locally, and we never use floral foam. Instead, we opt for chicken wire and moss, which can be reused multiple times. Our reusable cable ties also contribute to our efforts to reduce waste and minimize our impact on the planet. We are committed to promoting eco-friendliness and sustainability in all aspects of our business.
